I agree with Kym. And in addition, why is it that you think every relationship needs to have offspring? What if they are not financially ready, not mentally ready etc or even not able to. And even if they were, what is the desperation for? There are already enough people on this earth and why not help those people who are in foster care systems, adoption agencies. Surely we should be encouraging them to be getting help instead of expanding the problem? And same-sex marriage can help with that. They can adopt or foster kids who desperately need their help and even further, they’re more guaranteed to be put into a safer home rather than born into a home with any possible issues arising like verbal abuse, physical abuse, etc.

Marriage exists so that offspring have their parents. Thus, "same-sex marriage" is impossible. They need to call their machination something else.

I agree with Kym. And in addition, why is it that you think that married humans and their offspring is the only type of parental relationship? What about single parents? Or two people who aren’t ready for marriage just yet? What about step-parents? What about kids who were put in foster care systems and adoption agencies but now are in homes and have parents or a parent. And why would it matter that that child has parents who are both the same gender. How would that affect the knowledge, growth, happiness or abilities of that child? Also, they’re more guaranteed to be put into a safer home rather than born into a home with any possible issues arising like verbal abuse, physical abuse, etc and what if someone is born into a household with at least one abusive parent and that parent has a friend that that child is friends with too who actually treats them nicely. That’s not a biological parent but it’s still a parental figure who treats them like a parent should do to a child.

Marriage in our modern world isn’t for reproduction, we’re not living in ancient times. Many straight couples can’t have kids due to fertility issues, don’t see you campaigning against their marriage. Also  many same sex couples use surrogates so they do have kids to ‘populate our earth’ and they adopt the abandoned kids and give them a home and loving environment. It is quite obvious for you it’s the fact their gay that your against same sex marriage not because of their inability to reproduce.

Same sex marriage is totally possible.

A marriage is defined by two people wishing to share each other's lives based on familial, economic, social, and emotional needs.  Any two individuals who can provide a loving and stable home can also found a family without having to give birth to children.

Therefore same-sex marriage is entirely legitimate and should be recognised as such.
