He slowly opened his eyes, observing what was around him. Nen abilities seemed to be going off everywhere, and they seemed to be fighting to...get to him. Odd. He thought, glancing around. He seemed to be in a giant crater in the middle of a city, which meant he probably fell from somewhere very high up. Killua got to his feet. He had such a calculating expression, despite being confused he showed no sign of fear or alarm at the situation he was in. Suddenly Aizawa blinked, and he was gone. He froze, looking around frantically. However the boy was just...gone. Like he was never there in the first place. Not good... I should report this. However they might not get me what I want. Killua's only goal, was to find his way home. He'd gladly ally with any side that could accomplish that, regardless of the risks. He looked down. Welcome to chap Hey shippers! back with another mha x hxh crossover, i have 5 chapters already made so you can look forward to at least that much! (laziness and school work might hit again but i was busy this weekend) Shouting, cries of pain, sobs of fear, explosions of fire and blood splattering on the cold hard ground. Killua could hear it happening around him as he lay there, trying to get his bearings. He seemed to be alright for the most part, save some dirt in his hair. He'd have to deal with that later. Where am I? he realized he had no clue what this place was. Killua quickly scaled a building in a flash, eyes surveying the area. There seemed to be two parties that were fighting, almost like two sides of a war clashing. Killua felt eyes on him, then quickly located the origin. There was what seemed to be a homeless man with long messy black hair. Killua turned to meet his eyes, then activated zetsu. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Aizawa had been called to the scene after there was apparently a portal that opened in the sky. He paused on the edge of the building, eyes widening in shock at the huge crater in the middle of hosu city. Was that from a person? They'll need serious medical attention- His thoughts cut off as a teenager stood up from the crater. He was in awe at the fact that he seemed to be unharmed. He probably has a unique quirk, it must be strong. Especially because the villains are so interested in him. The thing that had alerted the pros to the portal was the swarm of villains trying to gather around it, which means they were most likely the cause. He kept on the down low, trying to evade attention. Aizawa realized the boy was no longer in the crater and his eyes darted around, landing on the top of a building. How'd he get there without me noticing-? Suddenly the teen's eyes locked with his, and they stared at eachother for a moment. He had such a calculating expression, despite being confused he showed no sign of fear or alarm at the situation he was in. Suddenly Aizawa blinked, and he was gone. He froze, looking around frantically. However the boy was just...gone. Like he was never there in the first place. Not good... I should report this. Aizawa tugged on his scarf, then made his way back to U.A ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Killua was watching what he had thought was a homeless man from the shadows. Upon further observation, he figured he was probably a part of the war. Which side he was on was unclear to him however. Killua decided to hunt for information first, then he'd decide his next course of action. He made sure to walk like he knew what he was doing and where he was, nodding politely to people on the street as he walked by. Nobody thought anything of him as he strolled down the street. As killua was walking, he noticed a billboard that was showing the news. Killua paused, listening in on it. "The most capable pro heros in the area are stuck in a fierce battle with the villains. Who knows what they want? Stay t-" Pro heros..? He'd never heard of that before. They seemed important, however. Killua made his way over to a library and wandered in, then quickly typed in an inquiry about his location to the computer. Hosu city. Tokyo, Japan. Tokyo? He racked his brain, but he didn't remember that name. hm...Killua decided to search more about the 'pro heroes' and 'villains'. Perhaps it would help him figure out where he was. After further research, he concluded it wasn't an actual war. However there were indeed two distinct sides, and he must choose one. Well due to my past, the villains would be the more logical choice. Killua could hear it happening around him as he lay there, trying to get his bearings. 15. Killua sighed, hands in his pockets as he walked along the streets of the town he called home. The sharp scent of smoke hit his nose as he passed by an alley, which he ignored. It wasn’t exactly uncommon in these parts. Almost there- Killua blinked, realizing his body was going numb. He glanced down, confused. Confusion turned to alarm as he realized his body was…disintegrating? Turning into a fine powder that was blowing away in the wind. The alarm faded into curiosity, as he realized…it didn’t hurt. He watched his fingers turn from flesh to sand, then get whisked away by the wind. The decay crawled up his arms and legs, then his chest, then finally his head. His vision faded as his eyes turned grainy, then fell to the ground in a million microscopic particles. It took a few minutes for Killua's senses to come back. The first thing he heard was the chattering of hundreds of strangers. He felt the humid air, smelled the wet asphalt, and lastly saw a massive crowd bustling around him. I seem to have…teleported. He realized, blinking and glancing around and getting a bearing of his surroundings. There seemed to be some sort of rush, as the people seemed to be moving in a specific direction. It was then he also noticed how…wrecked, the city looked. Windows smashed, charred buildings, random debris littering the ground. Very interesting, he thought. Then….he smelled the smoke. Killua immediately tried to activate En but…it didn’t work. He frowned, then realized he was in a state of zetsu he couldn’t seem to get rid of. That comes with advantages though, as well as some drawbacks. he thought. Killua scaled what seemed to be a kiosk, filled with assorted items for sale. From his vantage point he took in his surroundings, before noticing a building a little ways away, it was up in flames like the rest of the city but it seemed to be…a school. He diverged from the crowd, stepping quickly as he made his way over. There were a few people in flashy outfits keeping people away. "back up! There's toxic gas, breathing it could be fatal-" a woman sobbed. "MY BABIES!" Killua hesitated. There's kids still in there? Killua ripped part of a flag off a flagpole, then ran towards the building. He'd be damned if some smoke stopped him, there were children in there. "Hey kid! What are you-", "STOP!" Killua dodged as one of them tried to grab at him, then ran into the fire. The smoke was infused with some sort of poisonous gas he couldn’t identify, man he was rusty on his poison identification. He closed his eyes and focused, listening for any noise. He heard a soft muffled crying and broke through a wall, grabbing a young girl and hauling her over his shoulder. He shredded part of the flag off, and wrapped it around her nose and mouth to protect against the gas. "h-help!" a young voice cried, feebly. Killua went methodically throughout the building as the fire alarm blared in his ears, grabbing kids and hauling them over his shoulders or back. He could only carry so many though, he was on his fifth and had to tie her to his back with the flag. A seventh went on his front, and that was it. Thankfully the rest evacuated already. Killua ran back out the door, making sure to carefully place each child on the ground and unwrap their mouth coverings. They needed fresh air. "Hey you! Call an ambulance" he barked, at one of the oddly clothed individuals. He checked their breathing, they seemed to be stable. Thank god- "who the hell do you think you are?" the man said, furious. Killua locked eyes with the mother who'd been crying for her children and she quickly called the police. He stood up, but before he could speak suddenly he was getting scolded by several people. Saying he was being reckless, and a kid like him shouldn’t be putting himself in danger like that. But there was one sentence, that really pissed him off. "leave it to the pro's kid" Killua scowled. "pro? You claim to be a pro?" most pathetic hunters I've ever seen. "well yeah-", "why didn’t you save them then?" he asked, gesturing to the unconscious children. The female hunter frowned. "well there was toxic gas, we could've been killed-", "so?" he interrupted. One of the others went to speak, but he spoke over them. "the moment you became a professional, you agreed to this. You knew you'd be putting your life on the line every day. If you want respect, do your fucking job. Don’t bitch to me about how I was being unsafe, when you don’t even have the balls to risk bodily harm for the sake of others." The group of hunters fell silent, a crowd was gathering as killua scolded them. "w-who the hell are you to be taking to us like this-", "who am i? I'm someone who went out of my way to do your fucking job because you were too worried about saving your own skin, then others" he said, venom dripping from his words. There aren't many hunters who dedicate their time to saving people, but if that's not what their goal is they shouldn’t claim it. Their just as bad as the fucking police. "you wanna save people? Then fucking do it. But if you don’t, put down that cape and let someone who's actually capable step up" the female's teeth gritted. "stop talking like you're on our level you little brat!" she spat. "waiting for another hero to arrive was the best option!" Killua rolled his eyes, then pulled out his hunter's license and flashed it to them. "your right, im not on your level" he said dryly. I'm above it. He thought. That, was a fact. He'd climbed the ranks of the hunter society, and gathered quite a deal of respect. He'd worked hard over the past few years to make a name for himself other than the title 'zoldyck' The female hunter frowned. "what's that little card?" Killua paused. Does she mean…my hunter's license? So these arent pro hunters? It occurred to him he had no idea where he was still. I saw a library a few blocks back, I'll go there. The ambulance pulled in and Killua took that moment to slip away undetected. He mulled over the words those 'pros' had said. Suddenly he remembered a particular line the woman had said. "waiting for another hero to arrive was the best option!" He thought for a moment. Hero..? Don’t tell me- he looked sideways, and up, and saw a massive billboard. There was an image of a man with blonde hair and a massive grin "You've gotta be fucking kidding me.." Chapter 2 Killua was walking the streets again, an irritated scowl on his face. He'd researched this city's society for about an hour and a half and felt utterly disgusted, and irritated. Mainly by the appearance of quirks, if nothing else. Children were just handed power, then had the gall to say it made them superior to others. Just as you shouldn’t spoil a child with a fortune, you shouldn’t hand them power on a silver platter. No wonder there were so many 'villains'. Most of them were most likely just adolescent rebellious teenagers trying to make life exciting. Killua sighed, then swore under his breath as he felt a tug in his ear. Someone with a magnetic quirk walked by and it yanked on his earring. He walked down an alley to avoid the sensation. It didn’t exactly hurt. However with the fact he was in a constant state of zetsu, if the magnetic power increased it might rip his ear and he wouldn’t be able to really do anything about it. Killua had trained much of his body to withstand great lengths of pressure and pain, but his ears weren't one of them. Caught in his musings, if he hadn't trained himself to be hyperaware of his surroundings he probably wouldn’t have noticed the footsteps coming up behind him. "do you need something?" he asked, turning his head. A large muscular male was standing there, one that he recognized from that billboard. The one he also knew by the name 'allmight'. Honestly though, killua wasn’t intimidated. "hello there young man!" he said, with a grin. Killua stuck a lollipop in his mouth. "hey" he said, casually. Allmight hesitated. "young man do you know who I am?" he shrugged. "yeah, you’re the number one hero. It's cool, I guess. But I've met people like you before" Killua replied, thinking of that irritating but powerful old man. "people…like me? Care to elaborate young man?" Allmight said, curiosity laced through his tone. Killua licked the lollipop, leaning against the alley wall. "his name was netero, kinda the you where I'm from. If that makes sense" he said. "where are you from?" the hero asked. Killua chuckled. "nowhere you'd ever heard of" doesn’t even show up on the world maps I looked at. "well, I saw the…incident, at the burning school" he said, and killua shot him a dry look. "if you came to scold me, your reprimanding will fall on deaf ears" Allmight laughed. "no, not at all. I just wanted to say that was very heroic of you young man. Tell me, what's your name?" Killua pondered how to respond for a moment. I could use my fake name, but then again maybe if I use my real one someone may recognize it. That could be a good or a bad thing though depending on who… "Killua" he said, discarding the now bare stick that once held his lollipop. Allmight nodded. "mhm, very good. Well young Killua, I've got things to do!" he said, and Killua noticed how his body seemed to be…steaming, slightly. That doesn’t look normal. Allmight sped away the very next moment. Killua just shrugged it off and kept walking. That was pretty odd. The old man had seemed to be.. Scrutinizing him, for what reason killua wasn’t sure, nor was he sure of whether he should be concerned or not. I suppose I should find a place to crash though. Maybe get a job. He groaned at the thought of trying to make an honest living. Since he was nearly sixteen it would be possible for him to get a job now, but he really didn’t want one. I suppose there are…other ways, of getting money. He thought, with a grin. Killua did some quick research on a phone he stole, then made his way to the nearest bar. He pickpocketed some money on his way, just eighty five bucks. That was all he really needed. Time for a little bit of gambling. He walked in, then rang the bell on the bar. A fair skinned female with emerald eyes walked up. "beat it kid, your underage" Killua hummed. "well, I could make it worth your time" he said, sliding forward the money. "one bottle of vodka, then we'll go from there" the bartender frowned. "what are you planning to do with a full bottle of vodka?" he smirked. "both of us are going to benefit from this, trust me" he said. She sighed, then slid over a bottle. "fine. Long as you keep my name out of the transaction, not getting in legal trouble for this" she said, disgruntled. Killua cleared his throat, then grabbed the bottle and stood on a table. Usually he didn’t like attention, mainly when he was on the streets. But occasionally, especially in a gambling setting, he loved it. Only a few people turned towards him in curiosity. "who wants to bet if I'll still be standing after chugging this whole bottle of vodka?" at that, most of the bar glanced over at him. The bartender's eyes widened. He grinned. "a hundred bucks on the line, any takers?" one of the tables closest to him had a short male with a beard. "hah! As if" he slapped down the money. "I bet two hundred" Killua hummed, then silently leapt down from the table and placed his money on top of the male's. he'd had a hundred bucks in reserve. "alright here we go" he shook the bottle a little, then popped it open and brought it to his lips, downing it. There were exclamations of shock as he set down the empty bottle and snatched the cash. "hey barkeep, can I have another?" she blinked a few times, then passed over another bottle. "better pay up when your done kid" he smirked. "you bet" about an hour and 18 bottles later, killua was tipsy. Not only was he tipsy, but he'd accumulated 2000 bucks after he paid back all the money for the booze. The barkeep whistled. "damn kid, you got a crazy tolerance. I'm guessing it's your quirk" Killua just laughed, not saying anything. "need a place to crash, this place got beds?" she hummed. "not technically, but because of the revenue you’ve brought in I can let you crash in the back for free. Killua snickered. "anytime, that was fun as hell" he said. Killua loved pushing himself to his limits, especially his poison tolerance. Killua rested his hands behind his head with a sigh, collapsing onto the bed. He hadnt been intoxicated in a pretty long time, due to how hard it was to get himself drunk without spending thousands of dollars. Being practically immune to poisons had its weaknesses, as well as its strengths. Killua fiddled with a loose strand on the bedsheet, bored. Maybe tomorrow I'll find an actual job. Or maybe he'd just gamble, what could go wrong? Even if he lost he could just pickpocket for anything he really needed, then keep gambling with the rest. ah ill figure it out tomorrow, man this place is fun. Chapter 3 Killua wasn’t exactly sure how he got in this situation but a couple weeks later he was sitting in a police station, being scolded by police officers. Apparently random acts of kindness such as cutting down a tree to find some random kid's toy and scaring off some older men who were trying to harass a younger woman by threatening their lives was actually illegal. Mostly those random acts of 'kindness' was just him being mind numbingly bored, with nothing interesting to do with his time. Usually when he got like that he'd divulge into more illegal activities, however he didn’t know how the laws around here worked just yet. He decided to hold off on the arson and murder until he really understood the society. "now I understand you had good intentions, but it's illegal to use your quirk to harm others without a license" the police chief said, referring to the time where he may or may not have broken bones of a few thugs who were harassing a group of preschoolers. He blinked. Quirk? Killua sighed. "I don’t have a quirk, actually. So if we're going by technicalities I didn’t actually break the law" he said, with a slight grin. Most of the people in the room were shocked, especially the chief of police. "your quirkless? Woof?" Killua leaned back in his seat. "yeah? And?" one of the police officers suddenly spoke up. "what your doing is reckless! You could get seriously injured!" another piped up, then another. Suddenly the entire room was scolding him. Earlier they were being so tolerant of it, just giving me a warning. Now their acting like I'm being reckless? Just because I don’t have a quirk? Killua scowled. "you act like because im quirkless, that im some sort of pathetic street rat" he said. The chief of police started rolling off a long lecture about how it wasn’t safe without a quirk, and he could easily be killed if he kept doing what he'd been doing. Killua was done. He wasn’t going to sit here listening to these police officers tell him he couldn’t protect himself without a quirk. Even if we're equating quirks with nen, ive gone quite a deal throughout my life without it just fine. He stood up, looking down at the quirk canceling handcuffs on his wrists. They'd been placed on him the moment he entered, and killua had found them kind of useless. "I'm afraid since we're not done with you yet we can't remove those-" The officer was cut off as Killua snapped the handcuffs. The room went dead quiet save for the sound of rending metal as he pried the cuffs off, then dropped the broken metal onto the table. "I'm quirkless, not powerless" he said coldly, then shoved his hands in his pockets as he turned and started walking away. "there's more to one's strength, then a randomly assigned superpower. Now I'll take my leave" Killua exited the building, and not a single person tried to stop him. I mean, who would? Nobody's ever declared something like that before as far as I'm aware. Well, not someone with the power to back it up. Coupled with that scene at the burning hospital, his words would really give the pro heros something to think about. Chapter 4 Killua let out a sigh, slipping a chocolate bar out of his pocket and unwrapping it. He bit off a piece, then smiled as he sweet warm taste hit his tongue. Chocolate really was a wonder, and one of his favorite things to indulge on. He stood at a street corner waiting for the traffic light to let him pass. I mean, I could just walk across the street but… he glanced sideways at a patrolling hero. Last thing I want is to get yelled at by those weaklings, such an irritation. He didn’t feel like starting something today, maybe tomorrow. Killua yawned, finishing his chocolate bar when he heard something "Hm?" he glanced up, then blinked when he saw a piece of the roof above him start to fall. Killua caught it with ease, it was only a couple tons. "Oh my god-" a woman exclaimed, as he gently set it down. "someone really needs to repair that roof" he said with a sigh, that was most likely breaching some sort of safety law. He continued down the street, ignoring the citizens who tried to converse with him. Killua instantly regretting displaying that much strength in public because now people were following him, some even took pictures and asked if he went to U.A. Killua couldn’t imagine himself with the label 'hero' it just didn’t suit him. Due to this society's standards, he would be labeled a villain. But villain doesn’t feel right either. He was more of an in between, neither evil nor good. At least, that’s how he liked to think of himself. He'd long given up trying to be a 'good' person. He would just never fit society's standards for it. At that thought he let out a soft chuckle. Gon's really rubbing off on me. He paused. Gon… his lips formed into a frown, deep in thought. I wonder where he is…he's definitely noticed I've gone missing by now. Killua kept walking down the street, barely paying attention to the passerby and chattering of the streets. His mind was focused on his plan for the future. Returning home could take a while. I wonder- His thought process was cut off by a familiar set of footsteps. Killua had only heard them once, but they were distinct enough for him to instantly recognize him. "fancy seeing you again" he said, glancing over his shoulder. As expected, Allmight was standing there, the same grin on his face. "ah, your very sharp young man. Scarily so-" "is there something you needed?" Killua replied, carefully layering his irritation under a thin sheet of curiousity. Something about the old man's presence just…didn’t sit right with killua. There wasn’t a reasonable explanation for it, he just didn’t like him. With a few long strides Allmight was standing beside Killua. "I don’t know if you realized but you’ve become somewhat of a celebrity around here" Killua's eyebrow raised. "how so exactly?" usually people pay no mind to me. Allmight laughed. "everybody's talking about you young man, there's several recordings of you being heroic, very impressive young man. Although slightly problematic" he added the last part with a slight wince. You’ve gotta be fucking kidding me. He grumbled internally. "tell me young man, what's your quirk?" Allmight asked, a curious look in his eyes. Killua sighed, placing his hands behind his head. "don’t got one, don’t need one" he said, shooting a dry look at Allmight. Allmight however seemed to…not be surprised. I suppose if he inquired the police about me, they would've told him about what happened. The fact he didn’t already know means it was never leaked to the press, or anyone. He couldn’t help a small grin coming across his face. They're intimidated, good. "how would you feel if I told you that you didn’t have to be quirkless anymore?" Killua blinked. "eh?" what's that supposed to mean? Allmight cleared his throat. "my quirk has been passed down from generation to generation, with every one the power growing, taking up the legacy. Young Killua you have shown incredible strength, heart, and courage. I offer you this power, so you may become the next symbol of peace" Chapter 5 "my quirk has been passed down from generation to generation, with every one the power growing, taking up the legacy. Young Killua you have shown incredible strength, heart, and courage. I offer you this power, so you may become the next symbol of peace" Huh-? Killua stared deadpan at Allmight for a few seconds. "nah" Allmight blinked, looking shocked. "huh?" Killua shrugged. "as I said before, I don’t need one. Give it to someone else who will actually use it" he said, placing his hands behind his head once more. That explains why he was examining me so closely earlier, what a joke. Killua had no interest in playing hero, the only thing he wanted was a way back home. Allmight looked hilariously shellshocked for a moment, obviously not expecting rejection. "but….young killua, you need a quirk to get into U.A-" "what part of no do you not understand?" Killua said wryly, growing increasingly more irritated. "I said I don’t want it, I'm not taking it. I'm sure you'll find someone else who'd love that power grab but I'm good, thanks" He abruptly turned, and walked away. "alright…young killua…" Allmight mumbled sounding very confused and concerned. Killua sighed, turning the corner on the street. Although I suppose I got a plus as well, I now have blackmail on the number one hero. Not sure when I'd use it, but if I ever need it, I have it. Killua concluded that the situation wasn’t as time wasting as he'd originally thought. Having dirt on someone could go a long way, especially if that someone was the number one pro hero. Killua placed the chocolate in his mouth and let it coat his tongue, his face softening a little as he enjoyed the sweetness. Nothing could improve his mood like chocolate, nothing at all. "dammit, that bitch-" Killua blinked over his shoulder as he heard the gruff voice. Some woman was walking away from a middle aged man with something in her hand. The male sighed. "damn gold diggers" Killua thought for a moment. What if i…. "ten bucks and I can get it back for you" The male blinked. "eh-?" Killua grinned a bit at him. "she took something from you right? Ten bucks and it'll be in your hands again" The man laughed. "ah your funny, no hooker's gonna let go of a watch like that though…" A watch? Easy. Killua winked, then proceeded to walk casually in the woman's direction. Time to take my acting skills for a test run for the first time in this place. He sidled over to the woman, eyes shining a little in faux interest. "your pretty ma'am" he said, with a cheerful smile. The woman glanced over and giggled. "why thank you darling" she said, obviously the type that flattery swayed heavily. Killua kept and upbeat and friendly air projected around him as he conversed with her for a few minutes. She blushed and looked away after killua complimented her luscious locks. He quickly swiped the watch, then made up an excuse about how he was late for schoolwork. "sorry ma'am I gotta get going, homework!" The woman giggled. "we can chat any time deary" Killua whistled and walked away, the shiny watch in his pocket. Worked like a charm. But of course it did, he'd been practicing faking a smile since he was three. After that it went from a smile to emotions, then from emotions to an entire persona. Ha. I bet I could kill someone with my bare hands and talk my way out of it while I was standing over the body. Killua located the male again, then hummed and flashed the watch to him. "this yours?" His eyes widened. "i- wha-" Killua snickered. "make it twenty bucks and ill hand it over" The male groaned, then handed him the money. "fine" Killua chuckled and let him take the watch, then walked off. That was easy. I wonder… a grin spread across his face. I have just the idea. Chapter 6 A couple months later, killua was plastering posters on walls, he'd taken every precautionary measure to make them look official. Killua hummed and waited, fingers tapping on his keyboard. His plan was already in motion. First, he would make it look like an official site, a legitimate pro hero run site. But then over time people would attempt to use it for less than legal purposes, and would leak the link to other villains. It'll be perfect. A grin spread across his face. It was quite a delightful way to spend his time. Make cash and do something interesting at the same time. He thought. Killua licked his lollipop, crossing his legs as he waited. His eyes brightened as the little meow notification sounded. It works! Hell yeah. A wallet? Easy. He hummed, then clicked accept. Another screen popped up, asking him to choose an amount to charge. A grin spread across his face. I could charge ridiculously high prices and I bet people would still pay for it. However, killua decided to be gracious. He charged a mere five thousand yen. Killua clicked send once he was done, then waited for this 'Kanemi' to accept his terms. Killua yawned, it was late. He laid down in his bed. It'll probably be a while before I get a response anyways, I can spare a few hours of shut eye. He placed his lollipop down on a plate, he'd finish it tomorrow. Killua let out yawn, closing his eyes and falling asleep. "Meow! Order in. M-M-Meow! Order in" Killua groaned, sitting up. "the fuck?" he swore under his breath and turned off the notifications on his computer. He went back to bed, grumbling under his breath. "FIFTY SIX ORDERS!?" He exclaimed, in shock. Those posters had been up for eight hours. And he already had fifty six orders. Well shit, ive got work to do. He quickly scrolled through them, munching on some chocolate. A car, more wallets, a few sets of keys- Killua paused on a specific one, eyes widening. A kid!? Someone- lost their child? And came to a shitty 3rd party site? He frowned. Either people here are really stupid, or there's something else happening. Killua grabbed his other computer, this one he'd hacked into the police files with. Honestly they weren't very well protected, and hacking was something he was exceptionally good at. Killua quickly entered the client's name in the database, then his eyes narrowed. Wanted for several crimes, he's a villain. The term villain was a trivial one, one Killua didn’t really believe should be a way to categorize people. There were good people do did bad things, and bad people who did good things. The world simply wasn’t black and white, it was full of greys. But I don’t give a shit if this guy's considered a villain. He quickly looked up the child in the police files as well, and he was right. The little girl wasn't even related to that man. A grin slowly spread across Killua's face, and a glint went into his eyes. Another feature of this website, was the ability to track locations. Because the site seemed to be an 'official pro hero operated site', he was sure nobody would even consider the fact it was a possibility. He spat out his lollipop, then stretched. Let's get to work. Chapter 7 Two months had passed, his plan went exactly as intended. The majority of criminals looking for illegal items flooded his orders, and he was happy to accept. After all, it allowed him to accept insane prices. Not only that but it was exciting for once. Sometimes though he got caught between two rival villain groups both wanting information on eachother, and he usually ended up screwing both parties over in the end. All the while his business was growing, he was also gaining something very valuable. Blackmail. He knew the location of every single person that came to him for his services, and he kept them archived. In a few short months, he'd gained a lot of influence. He got hundreds of applications a day now, which he had to admit was exhausting. However, killua enjoyed it. He never felt fulfilled while he was standing idle. Killua was somewhat of a workaholic. No matter how exhausting the work was, he needed to be doing something to feel like he was worth something. And that’s enough of depressing thoughts for today. He thought, taking a large bite of a doughnut he'd bought earlier that morning. He scrolled through his copious amount of orders that he'd accepted, pondering on which one he'd choose to do first. Hm…find school files on some kid who was on the news, or locate some lost drugs and booze. Killua shrugged, flipping a coin. He genuinely couldn’t decide, both sounded fairly exciting. He wolfed down the rest of the doughnut as the coin landed on heads. Guess I'm breaking into a school. He did some google searching on the school, it was called Aldera High. The school seems pretty backwater, should be easy enough to sneak in. I wonder if I can order a uniform online… Approximately 2 hours later killua was putting on the uniform, it was pretty plain looking. He hummed, putting some temporary hair dye in and styling it to conceal his true identity. If he got caught, he still wanted to be able to roam the streets without being recognized. It would be easy enough for him to pretend to be from another country, that way nobody would notice he didn't belong. Killua exited his house, following the instructions on the gps to the building. He walked through the halls, only half faking a confused expression. Of course he'd seen schools before, but not one like this. Killua had been home schooled all his life, so he'd never actually stepped foot into one before. "Hey uh…you seem lost" Killua blinked and glanced behind him. There was a shorter male with curly green hair standing there, he had freckles and a kind smile. Killua coughed. "uh…no speak…japanese…well" He said, faking a thick british accent. He was fluent in both english and japanese, so he could easily play off not being able to speak one or the other language. The boy blinked. "oh you’re an exchange student?" Killua stared quizzically at him for a moment, as if he didn’t understand. There was a few moments of awkward silence. "uh…well-" Killua spoke over him. "Principal….office. Where?" He asked, glancing around. A look of understanding went across his face. "oh- here" he gave killua a school map, then pointed to a room. "you got here. Got it?" Killua nodded, then thanked him and went on his way. That was too easy. He thought, a grin just barely eluding his face. He made his way to the pricipal's office, then checked the handle. Locked. He hummed, quickly picking said lock with the appropriate tool, before sliding in and locking it once more. Now, looking for a 'Katsuki Bakugou' He thought, going through the files as quickly as he could while also expressing maximum efficiency. He'd done some research on the hot headed teenager before accepting, Killua wasn’t sure what someone would do with some school files on a teenager, but they agreed to the hefty fee so he might as well see the job through. Killua located the files and quickly downloaded them, then slipped the flash drive in his pocket. Suddenly footsteps started approaching the room. Shit- Killua turned and quickly opened the window, before sliding down and dangling from the side. Just as he'd done that, the door creaked open. "Ugh, what a long day- the hell? Who left the window open?" Chapter 8 Killua held his breath. He was already in zetsu, so he couldn't do much else. There was shuffling at the window. “Things seem to have been moved around…how odd.” hands reached out and slammed the window down on it's sill. Killua winced as it trapped his fingers between both the sill and window. Dammit. He could just slip them out and drop down, but that would make noise. Not only that but it’d tear the skin off his fingers. Killua was not looking forward to that option. Somehow, the principal didn't actually notice that Killua was there despite his fingers sticking out. He couldn't tell if it was his zetsu at work, or the hilariously unobservance from the principal. Killua was dangling there for a solid 30 minutes, he was starting to get bored but he didn’t really want to be caught. Eventually, the door closed. Killua sighed, then hauled himself up and untrapped his fingers from the window sill. He shook his hand with a scowl, the sill had left a mark on his hands. That looks ugly, eh it’ll fade- “Who the hell are you!?” Killua’s eyes snapped up, and he froze as he locked eyes with the principal. He…hadn’t actually left. Fuck. well killua, let's see if you can pull this off. Killua feigned a guilty expression. “S-Sorry, I got nervous” he said, in his accent. The principal looked enormously confused. “Wait, are you the new Russian transfer student?” Can I pull off a Russian accent? Killua cleared his throat. “Da” He said. That means yes in Russian, I think. I hope. He thought. It wasn't often Killua doubted his acting skills but he didn’t actually know any Russian besides the normal greetings and such. The principal laughed awkwardly. “Well, why exactly were you…out the window?” Killua blushed a bit in embarrassment. “Uh..” he thought for a moment, then continued in a thick Russian accent. “Looked for you. Heard someone coming…panicked.” The principal sighed. “Right, there’s somewhat of a turf war going on in your country, isn't there, my apologies. I should’ve given you a proper welcome-” Killua cleared his throat to catch the principal’s attention. “Hm?” “I don’t start until tomorrow, just came for a look.” He said. The principal blinked. “Oh. well, I can arrange someone to show you around-.” , “No thanks Ma’am.” Killua said, with a small bow. The principal looked confused. “It’s Sir, not Ma’am.” Killua rubbed the back of his head, an embarrassed expression on his face “Sorry, Sir. not good with Japanese yet.” The principal chuckled. “It’s alright, I’ll see you tomorrow.” Killua smiled, then walked away. That was close, good thing I wore a disguise. Tomorrow, he knew the real transfer student would come. And there would be a lot of questions, and most likely a police report. Maybe I should practice some Russian in my free time.

  19. Killua Zoldyck walked through the halls of Kunugigaoka junior high, on his way to his next class. School was really a pain in his ass, although a necessary one. He had a job to do, and he’d see it through despite how much of an annoyance it was. Whispers and mutters filled the halls as he walked by. Killua kept his eyes in front of him, his books slung in one arm. “So who is he? Everybody’s always talking about him” one of the various students gossiping about him asked. “He’s some transfer student who booted Seo out of the big five” , “Holy shit really?” , “Yeah, and his scores are insane! He’s even competing with Asano-” Killua tuned out the chatter out, it didn't matter. Indeed he had ascended his way to the top. It wasn't quite ‘clawing’ as the other students described, however. It was more of a smooth stroll. Slowly, every day, his grades rose. He tailored it specifically that way. It would seem unnatural if Killua started getting full marks on every single one of his assignments. It had to be gradual. A slow walk. He was sure that walk would still catch much attention, however it would attract a lot less negative attention this way. Killua walked into his classroom, class A. he made his way over to his desk, sitting down in it and crossing his legs. Old habits die hard. “Hmph. he thinks he's all fancy,” one of his classmates muttered, scowling behind Killua's back. Killua chuckled softly, a small grin crawling across his face. “If you're gonna talk shit, why don't you do it to my face” His classmate gulped and looked away. “N-Nothing…” he mumbled. Killua laughed softly and went back to his work. Wimp. The rest of the class went smoothly, and boring. Finals were rolling around, and Killua was almost ready to turn to phase two. “Hey Kil, it's study time.” his classmate, Ren, said. Killua personally despised him, but getting close to the big five’s top members was crucial for his plan. “Hm? Sure. we’re going with the other four?” he asked. “Three, Asano ain’t gonna show.” Ren said, running a hand through his hair. “That study hall was long, but exams are coming up” Killua let out a sigh, gathering his things. It was infuriating having to pretend to want to teach his classmates, let alone enjoy it. He, Ren, Teppei, and Natsuhiko made their way to the library, chatting. Well, the other three chatted. Killua didn’t talk, he was known as the ‘quiet genius’. Whereas most of the big five enjoyed flaunting their intelligence, Killua saw no need to. Instead he simply kept to himself, only talking when it was necessary. They walked into the library, shelves filled with books from top to bottom. He hummed. “Heh, look who it is,” Teppei said, pointing towards a table. Killua blinked. Class 3-E? That was unexpected. Teppei strolled over with a grin. “Look who it is, the class E gang. Why even bother? This place is wasted on you. Pearls before swine as they say” Killua had to force himself not to laugh. As if you're one to talk, you're fucking hideous. The 3-E students looked over with eyes filled with irritation, and mouths stretched in disgruntled frowns. “Oh cute, they're studying.” Teppei sighed and waved a hand. “Hey scrubs, playtime’s over. The big kids need they’re spot” He spat. A scowl on his face. “Hey! Do you mind? We’re trying to fill our heads with knowledge!” the green haired girl said. However, as she did, the book she was ‘studying’ with fell. And underneath it, was a book about pudding. Uhuh. Killua thought, in amusement. “Uh- Kayano-” “We’re not going anywhere, we reserved these seats in advance.” another one of the students said, a determined look on his face. The blonde yawned with a wave of her hand “yeah you don't know what it is studying with air conditioning until you don't have it, move along please.” Killua was slightly surprised. This was a lot different than the fear or reverence the group usually got from classmates. “What do we have there? Are the lost causes defying their betters now?” Natsuhiko said, pushing his glasses up the bridge of his nose. Killua tuned out most of the argument, it was rather pointless. Suddenly, out of the corner of his eye he sensed a..pointed object coming towards him. Killua quickly grabbed the arm that was darting for him, and got ready for a fight, eyes snapping forward. His eyes met the confused and shocked sapphires of the blue haired boy. The hell? His eyes darted around quickly, and he quickly observed how all his companions were…well that…sure is interesting. Killua let go before anyone else noticed, then sighed. “Don't be absurd, would you really be willing to stake your life on something like this?” His three companions just stood there in utter disbelief and shock. Killua let out a sigh, then made a clicking noise with his tongue. “Come.” he ordered. “You're making a fool of yourselves” Interesting. Very, interesting.

because yes Gon and Killua were running through a forest. Gon snickered and threw a beetle at Killua, who dodged with a yelp, then scowled at him. "You little-" he ran and tackled Gon, who laughed as they both went tumbling into the grass. "what? Is Killua scared of a little tiny beetle?" Killua flushed in embarrassment. "E-Eh? No! I'm not scared. It's just gross!" Gon snorted. "says the person who can hold a beating heart in their hand without flinching" he pointed out. Killua huffed, then rolled off Gon and laid on his back in the grass. "whatever" there was a small moment where neither of them spoke. "Man I'm drained" Gon said with a sigh, resting his hands under his head. They'd been frolicking around for the past 3 hours just having fun. The two fourteen year olds had ingested a lot of sugar, which had been fun for a while. Now though, they were beat. Gon opened his bag and set up sleeping bags. Killua sighed and slid into his own, while Gon burrowed into his. He closed his eyes and the world faded around him. "GET AWAY FROM-" Crash. Gon's eyes snapped open, then over to Killua's empty sleeping bag. His blood ran cold. "Crap-" he got to his feet, eyes darting around. He didn’t see anything, that was bad. I heard killua, what- "now now~" he heard a familiar voice say, in a low slightly amused tone. Hisoka! He ran towards the noise, he had to help killua! As he came upon the scene his eyes widened. Killua was facing off against hisoka, alone. There was blood everywhere, most of it from killua but hisoka had minor injuries as well. There was a fallen tree with a dent in it, as if someone had been flung into it hard. "Gon, run! I'll hold him off!" Killua shouted, electricity crackling in his fists. Gon gritted his teeth. He couldn’t run. He couldn’t just leave killua alone with him. Gon darted around, planning to flank Hisoka from another angle. "Gon go" Killua yelled, panic threading his words despite only saying two. Im sorry killua, but I can't! He inhaled sharply, charging up his jajanken. Hisoka turned to look at him, a cruel smile on his lips. "you havent quite ripened yet Gon~ stay out of this" he was launched backwards, the breath expelled from his lungs harshly as he hit solid stone. Gon coughed up blood, gasping as one of his ribs cracked. He struggled to get up, but the world was going dark. "n-no…" he got to his feet. Sheer will the only thing keeping the world from spinning. Blood ran into his eyes, he blinked rapidly but nothing could expel the dizziness. Vertigo overtook him and he collapsed, breath rasping. The ringing in his ears finally ceased as his mind slipped into unconsciousness, and the inky black tendrils of nothingness took him
